We’re still waiting on delivery, but after we went out and ordered it, I took Chris to the store to go meet it and try it out..
The actual writing of the book has been a big learning opportunity for me, but also this whole process of working with a real-life legitimate publisher is something that’s completely foreign to me.Do you have any idea how much work goes into putting a book together?
We started talking about my book in the early fall of last year and this thing probably won’t come out until January of 2017!That leaves a lot of time for a lot more adventures, twists and turns, and more than a few interesting little stories here and there I’m sure.. It’s all going to be worth it and I know I’m just going to love my little (OK, big) book when it’s done and I really hope I can create something that you’ll enjoy too!.So I guess make sure you stay tuned for the next “chapter” in this book-writing adventure!I’m not even exaggerating when I say we’ve been working on this project for like 2 years.
Actually it’s been almost exactly 2 years and one month..Funny story about that: When we first got the idea to put in this wall of cabinets in the back hall off of our master bedroom, little Jack was about 3 weeks old.
Chris saw that they had a whole bunch of basic cabinetry in stock at our local Home Depot that he could just grab and toss in the back of his truck for about $100 per cabinet and I thought it was a great idea!.
But.. We’d just finished working on Jack’s nursery for the last year or so and I didn’t want to start on any big projects.Isn’t it (going to be) lovely?.
let’s take a little closer look at what’s going on here….Back to shchooll?.Are you in the mood for Back To School yet?
I know in some places, the kids have been back for a couple of weeks already, but here we don’t go back until after Labour Day.I’m ready for it!.
